ArcelorMittal Liberia Honors Five Security Officers of the Security Expert Guard Agency of Liberia for COMMITMENT and DEDICATION:
~ Helen Keller said, “I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty
to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble.”
Accomplishing great and noble heights begin with doing the small tasks that matter with
foremost COMMITMENT and DEDICATION – that which was recently expressed by
the world’s giant steel company operating in Liberia.
On Tuesday, 1 November 2022 five Security Officers of Liberia’s premier and leading
private security company were honored by the Management of ArcelorMittal Liberia for
their continued commitment and dedication to duty. Those honored are: 1). G. Emmanuel
Wheh 2). Esther Tokpah 3). Jury Dixon 4). Daisy Weah and 5). D. Michael Peters – the
honorees are assigned at the AML’s Operational Site in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
Bestowing the honor, the Head of Corporate Services of ArcelorMittal Liberia Mr.
Samuel Stevquoah said the honoring event held today is part of the Company’s Annual
Initiative and we are indebted to continue these activities. He added, “The company is
move to motivate their workers as part of best practices.” In furtherance, “You are an
integral part to the success of this Company entry and exit points.” Therefore, the need to
recognize you for your continued services and dedication can never be over-emphasized.
Mr. Stevquoah encouraged the officers to continue their best, enforce the rules void of
discrimination for the betterment of the Company and their profession. As para-military
people, let discipline be the hallmark of your job and learn to channel your grievances
through your leaders, he urged the SEGAL Officers. In addition to the recognition, the
Company presented certificates to the honorees including 25kg bag of rice to each of the
honoree as a sign of appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
In conclusion, Mr. Momo Tarnuekollie CYRUS, General Manager and Chief Executive
Officer of the Security Expert Guard Agency of Liberia applauded the Management of
ArcelorMittal Liberia for the wisdom to appreciate the Security Officers for their
commitment and hard work – which is a sign of victory for the Company. He stated that
SEGAL believes in the progressive disciplinary Management Methods i.e., Rewards and
Punishments.
Also, he congratulated the officers for their outstanding performances to duty.
Simultaneously, Mr. Cyrus presented a cash award of US$150.00 to the female honorees
and US$100.00 to the male honorees as a means to further motivate them to doing more
on the job.
