Monrovia, Liberia - March 5, 2025

As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, the Security Expert Guard Agency of Liberia (SEGAL) officially dedicated its newly constructed bus stop in Sinkor. The structure, strategically located on 1st Street Sinkor, opposite Our Lady of Lebanon, aims to provide much-needed shelter for commuters while enhancing public safety.

Delivering special remarks on behalf of the CEO, Hon. Amb. Momo T. Cyrus, Senior Finance Officer Francis K. Zazay reaffirmed the agency’s dedication to projects that uplift communities. He encouraged more collaborations between private institutions and government entities to foster development across Liberia.

The dedication ceremony brought together government representatives, SEGAL Management Team, key stakeholders, members of the Press, community leaders, and representatives from various institutions. During the opening remarks, Mr. Abraham Delleh Wala, Administrative Assistant of SEGAL set the tone for the occasion, emphasizing the importance of community-driven initiatives

Mr. Joseph G. Gono, Head of ICT- SEGAL, giving an overview of the project, highlighted the need for shelter in public. He added “People need shelter, and we recognized our first initiative to be a shelter. This bus stop is a testament to our commitment to making life easier and safer for the community.”

Representing SEGAL, Mr. Dave S. Freeman underscored that the agency’s success is not measured solely by financial gains but also by the positive impact of its corporate social responsibility efforts. His remarks reflected SEGAL’s commitment to not just security but also to the well-being of the society and environment.

James A. B. Brown, Technical Specialist at the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC), commended SEGAL for the initiative, acknowledging the significance of the project in improving public infrastructure. Adding to the appreciation, Emmanuel N. Flomo, Youth Chairman of the God Bless You Community, expressed gratitude for SEGAL’s investment in the neighborhood, emphasizing its impact on local commuters.

The bus stop, equipped with solar-powered lights, a mini trash bin, and weather-resistant protection, stands as a testament to SEGAL’s vision for a safer, cleaner, and more organized urban space. With the dedication now complete, the facility is officially open for public use, marking yet another milestone in SEGAL’s commitment to community enhancement.
